新聞を読まず、インターネットに触れない人でも、今の日本や世界が課題に溢れていることは、どこかで分かっているはずです。自分自身、または身近な人が「課題」に直面しているという人も少なくないでしょう。「何のために?」というフィルターを持って世の中を透かして見る人は、これから増えていくと私は考えています。

　その裏付けとなるようなデータも出ています。例えば、インテージが震災「前」に行った消費者意識に関する調査では、10代～20代の社会貢献意識が全世代で最も高くなっています(PDFレポート, p34)。多くの若い世代が「何かしなくちゃいけない」という危機感を抱いている証左と言えるのではないでしょうか。

　また、米国では「スペンドシフト」というタイトルの調査報告が話題になりました。このレポートは、未曾有の大不況の後に起こった人々の消費マインドの:

自分を飾るより ⇒ 自分を賢くするためにお金を使う。
ただ安く買うより ⇒ 地域が潤うようにお金を使う。
モノを手に入れるより ⇒ 絆を強めるためにお金を使う。
有名企業でなくても ⇒ 信頼できる企業から買う。
消費するだけでなく ⇒ 自ら創造する人になる。

　といった「シフト」を切り取った内容となっています。「スペンドシフト」は米国のレポートですが、著者のジョン･ガーズマ氏は、震災などを要因に日本でも「スペンドシフト」が起こっている、とも語っています。
